Members of the Weiland family, including Nicholas, his wife Margaret, Mary, Lizzie (Elizabeth), Charlotte, George, daughter Margaret, Katie, Frank, Henry, Cecile, and Nicholas's mother Elizabeth occupied the home at 925 Sixth (now 403 W. Sixth St.) at the southwest corner of Sixth and Elm at various times from 1877 when the home was built through 1920. Another son, John, was born July 15, 1873 and died 10 months later, May 12, 1874.
