Cecile (Cecilia) Weiland was born about 1894 in Appleton and lived in the home at 925 Sixth (now 403 W. Sixth St. at the southwest corner of Sixth and Elm.) She married Dr. Hugh Kurston in the family home in 1918. She was the daughter of Appleton pioneer Nicholas Weiland.
