Henry Schuetter


Henry Schuetter was a merchant tailor with a shop on N. Oneida St. In 1890 he and his wife Mary had architect G. A. Tenbusch design the Queen Anne style home for them at330 W. Sixth St. Henry Schuetter still occupied the home in 1925.

His son, Karl purchased the Whorton house across Prospect. The May 17, 1928 Appleton Post Crescent had a article about the Schuetter's 52nd wedding anniversary celebration at their son's house. At that time Karl Schuetter was 78 and his wife 77. They had lived in Appleton since 1870.
