Mary Mowry Waters lived at 362 Cherry, (now 802-804 S. Memorial Dr.) from 1884 until about 1889. Her husband was Menzo Waters. This tintype was taken about 1870s to mid 1880.
Both Mary and Menzo were born in New York in 1824 and lived in Wisconsin as early as 1850. Their son was prominent cigar manufacturer H. T. Waters and their daughter Clara was married to pioneer lumberman George Gerry
