Street number prior to 1925: 362 State
City real estate records state this home was built in 1850 which would make it, along with 515 W. Fifth St. the oldest complete home in the Old Third Ward. This date, however, is suspect. No building appears in this spot on the 1889 city plat map.
From 1897 to 1898 the home was occupied by papermaker George Garvey and Third Ward school teacher Miss Mary O'Keefe.
From 1925 to 1938 this home housed a piano tuner Andrew J. Theiss.
