Built in 1923, this home's first documented owner (1925) was a dentist, Dr. Francis V. Hauch and his wife Helen. This home was also reportedly the recipient of the west wing of the 1849 Conkey mansion next door at 433 W. Prospect Ave. However, recent research has disproven this story. It may have been that the wing was moved to this property at some time, but that wing was either moved again or demolished when this home was built.
