Street number prior to 1925: 945 Prospect


This building as constructed in 1891 following a design of local architect Phillip Dean. The widow of Appleton pioneer Theodore Conkey, Cynthia Conkey had this home built. The original Conkey mansion at 433 W. Prospect Ave. was then occupied by Theodore and Cynthia's daughter Helen and her husband Lyman Barnes.
