Attorney Joseph Koffend, Jr. lived at 230 W. Prospect Ave. in 1919 and still resided there in 1925.

The May 17, 1928 Appleton Post Crescent ran an article about the 52nd wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schuetter. It mentioned the guests at the celebration who had also celebrated their 50th wedding anniversaries. Among them was Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Koffend, parents of Joseph, Jr.
