In 1930 Josephine Gattner, a saleslady at a millinery shop, was a boarder in the home at 516 S. State St. At that time Johanna Hoch, widow of John W. Hoch, was the owner of the home.
The house used to be at 515 W. Sixth St. (973 Sixth when it was built) but was moved to this location in the 1970's.
