Built in 1925, this charming English Cottage is a perfect example of storybook architecture popular in the 1920's. Just east of Elm St., this home was in the Second Ward in 1925. The first resident was George Schommer who owned the first business in Appleton devoted exclusively to undertaking.
This address is not listed in the 1925 Wright's city directory.

This home is located in the West Prospect Avenue Historic District which is listed in the State and National Register of Historic Places.
