Members of the Kloepfel family lived at 614 W. Lawrence St. from 1884 to 1930 when Mrs. Minnie Kloepfel lived there with George and his wife Clara.
William E. Kloepfel ran a store on College Ave. that dealt in hardware, tinware, and farm implements. He was also the Chief of the Fire Department in 1889. George W. and Henry W. were clerks in the store.
