While city records give the date of construction of this house as 1910, it is listed in city directories as early as 1893 when Joseph Bayer and John Reider were the residents.
Philip H. and Josephine Miller occupied the home from at least 1920 to 1925. In June of 1920 they received quite an honor: the "Celebrity Girl" Miss Oliver (whose first name is not revealed) paid them a visit.
